Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York [180g]

Nirvana – MTV Unplugged in New York (180g Vinyl LP)

Experience one of the most iconic live albums of the 1990s with Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged in New York. Recorded at Sony Studios in New York on November 18, 1993, this remarkable performance captures Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl in a stripped-down setting that revealed a remarkably intimate and vulnerable side of the band.

Rather than simply performing their biggest hits acoustically, Nirvana created a unique set that incorporated unexpected covers and lesser-known material alongside familiar songs. The result is an atmospheric and deeply personal performance that has become one of the most celebrated live recordings in rock history.

This 180-gram vinyl pressing was released by Geffen Records and presents the performance on a single LP. The combination of Cobain’s haunting vocals, acoustic instrumentation, and the band's understated performances makes this an essential record for fans of Nirvana, grunge, alternative rock, and 1990s music.
