Mastodon - Leviathan [Sky Blue - D Side Etching]

Mastodon – Leviathan (Limited Edition Sky Blue 2LP Vinyl)

Dive into one of the defining albums of modern heavy music with Mastodon’s Leviathan. Originally released in 2004, this acclaimed concept album draws inspiration from Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick, combining massive guitar riffs, progressive arrangements, sludge-metal heaviness, and intricate musicianship into one of the band's most influential releases.

Leviathan was a major breakthrough for Mastodon, establishing the Atlanta-based band as a powerful force in progressive and extreme metal. The album balances crushing heaviness with complex songwriting, dynamic changes, and expansive instrumental passages, creating a record that rewards repeated listening.

This special 2026 standalone 2LP edition is pressed on striking Sky Blue colored vinyl and maintains the original album sequence. The set is housed in a gatefold jacket featuring gold foil stamping and a leather matte laminate finish, while Side D features a custom etching rather than additional audio.
